Battery Energy Storage System
Project Overview
Erie Shores BESS is a proposed standalone Battery Energy Storage System (“BESS”) of up to 50 megawatts (“MW”) in the Municipality of Bayham, just outside of Eden Ontario. The project will be submitted to the Independent Electricity System Operator’s (“IESO”) request for proposals under the Long-term Procurement (“LT1”) process.

Capstone will not be proceeding with the proposed Erie Shores BESS at this time, and the planned December 5th Virtual Public Community Meeting is cancelled.
